CAT15008, CAT15016 Voltage Supervisor with 8-Kb and 16-Kb SPI Serial CMOS EEPROM FEATURES DESCRIPTION The CAT15008/16 (see table below) are memory and Precision Power Supply Voltage Monitor supervisory solutions for microcontroller based systems. A 5V, 3.3V, 3V & 2.5V systems CMOS serial EEPROM memory and a system power 7 threshold voltage options supervisor with brown-out protection are integrated Active High or Low Reset together. Memory interface is via SPI bus serial interface. Valid reset guaranteed at V = 1V CC 10MHz SPI compatible The CAT15008/16 provides a precision V sense CC 32-byte page write buffer circuit with two reset output options: CMOS active low output or CMOS active high. The RESET output is Low power CMOS technology active whenever V is below the reset threshold or CC 1,000,000 Program/Erase cycles falls below the reset threshold voltage. 100 year data retention The power supply monitor and reset circuit protect Industrial temperature range system controllers during power up/down and against RoHS-compliant 8-pin SOIC package brownout conditions. Seven reset threshold voltages support 5V, 3.3V, 3V and 2.5V systems.
