NCP81142 Multiple-Phase Controller with SVID Interface for Desktop and Notebook CPU Applications www.onsemi.com The NCP81142 MultiPhase buck solution is optimized for Intel VR12.5 compatible CPUs with user configurations of 4/3/2/1 MARKING phases. The controller combines true differential voltage sensing, DIAGRAM differential inductor DCR current sensing, input voltage feedforward, and adaptive voltage positioning to provide accurately NCP 1 regulated power for both Desktop and Notebook applications. The 81142 ALYW control system is based on DualEdge pulsewidth modulation QFN32 (PWM) combined with DCR current sensing providing the fastest CASE 485CD initial response to dynamic load events at reduced system cost.
