It is designed to transfer current from its emitter to collector when the base terminal is activated. BC848A is a high-speed switching, NPN transistors and it features maximum power dissipation of 200mW and a low saturation voltage of 10V with a 2mA current gain of 110. The maximum collector-emitter voltage is 30V with a maximum DC current gain of 100mA at 5V. The package size of BC848A is SOT-23 which is suitable for SMD (surface-mount devices) applications in electronics fields.
