The MCR218-6G is a monolithic Schottky rectifier device manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is an ideal choice for power rectification applications in both low- and high-voltage circuit designs. The device is constructed with two Schottky diodes configured in a reverse-parallel, symmetrical arrangement, providing higher peak current ratings than equivalent single diode solutions. Each diode provides 600V of protection and 6.0A of forward conduction current, which makes this device well suited for use in fast switching flyback topologies.
